Joseph F. Hicks, a Crittenden, Kentucky resident, passed away at St. Elizabeth Health Care, Ft. Thomas, KY on Monday, December 30, 2013 at the age of 72.

Mr. Hicks was a Claims Adjuster with State Farm Insurance for over 35 years.He was a member of the Crittenden Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Christine Pugh Hicks; one son, Rodney Hicks of Crittenden, one daughter, Krista Smith of Walton, one brother, Jerry Hicks of Williamstown and five grandchildren.

Mr. Hicks was preceded in death by his parents, William & Sara Jordan Hicks, and his brother, William Jordan Hicks.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 4, 2014 at the Crittenden Baptist Church, Crittenden. Visitation will be Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the church.Burial will follow at the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge.Memorials are suggested to American Heart Association, 240 Whittington Pkwy, Louisville, KY 40222-4904 or Crittenden Baptist Church, P.O.
