Alma Mitts Gray

November 4, 1921 - November 30, 2013

Alma Louise Mitts Gray was born on November 4, 1921 on Meeks Road in Dry Ridge, Kentucky and passed away at the Grant Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center in Williamstown, Kentucky on November 30, 2013 at the age of 92. She was the daughter of the late Jesse Wilson and Fidella Chapman Mitts.

Mrs. Gray was a longtime resident of Dry Ridge and later Parkview Manor in Williamstown. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Clemons, wife of Thomas,three grandchildren: Mary Ellen Hill, Jennifer Smith and Laura Epperson; six great grandchildren: Caroline Hill, Bradley Hill, coleman Epperson, Jack Epperson, Lily Smith and AddisonSmithand many other relatives and friends. A grandson, Bobby Clemons and a brother, Kenneth "Jack" Mitts both preceded her in death.

A bookkeeper with the Citizens Bank in Dry Ridge for many years shealso had been a clerk at Hulett's Hardware in Williamstown. She was a longtime member of the Dry Ridge Baptist Church where she had served as a Sunday School Teacher.

Funeral services will be 7:00 PM, Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, Kentucky on Thursday.
