Helen Taylor Belcher, 95, a recent Louisville, Ky. resident and formerly of Burlington, Walton and Williamstown, died Friday, Nov. 8, 2013 in Louisville.


She was a daughter of the late O. B. and Edna Juett Taylor, the widow of W. R. "Red" Belcher, a former hair dresser and member of Walton United Methodist Church where she had served on the Pastor-Parish and Decorating committees. She was also a past president of the Walton Woman''s Club, a Woodspoint Nursing Home volunteer and an avid bridge player. She was also preceded in death by a son, Bruce Belcher in 1955 and one sister, Frances "Tan" Harp in 1999.

She is survived by her two sons, Chris (Deana) Crutcher, Louisville, and Gary (Linda) Crutcher, Pensacola, FL., one sister, Dorothy Powers, Williamstown, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, Nov. 13, at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, with visitation from l2:00 Noon until time of service.Burial will follow in the Williamstown Cemetery.
