Woodroe "Woody" Collins

September 12, 1943 - November 4, 2013

Woodroe "Woody" Collins, a resident of Austin, Indiana, formerly of Williamstown, died Monday, November 4, 2013 at his residence at the age of 70.He was the son of the late Alex and Maggie Collins.

Woodroe was a former Quality Control Inspector for Aristech Acrylics, LLC and attended the Mt. Perrin Baptist Church.

He is survived by two daughters; Sandra Neace ofPendleton Countyand Melissa Brawnstein of Cincinnati, two sons; Kenneth Collins of Bethel, OH, and Paul Ray Collins of Georgetown, KY, a brother; Pearl Collins of Williamstown, a sister; Oma Harrell of Williamstown, two special friends; Kathleen Griffith and Imogene Colwell both of Austin, IN and8 grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 5, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Mt. Parion UnitedBaptist Church on the corner of Bond Street and North Second Street, Austin, IN.


Funeral services will be on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 12:30 PM at Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will be at 2:00 PM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, North in Williamstown.
