Samuel Mosley, Sr. was born Oct. 14, 1933 in Hazard, Kentucky and passed away Oct. 22, 2014 in Florence, Kentucky at the age of 81. He was the widower of Mazie Nell Wagner.
Samuel was a retired machinist with Signode Manufacturing in Florence, Kentucky. He was a member of the Walton United Methodist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by a son: Sam Mosley, Jr. of Florence; a daughter Cherie Estep and her husband Jon of Columbus, OH; and two grandchildren: Connor and Madison Estep of Columbus.
Samuel was preceded in death by a brother: Garland Mosley andthree sisters: Maurice Cordray, Gwyndola Dunn and Virginia Jones.
Graveside Memorial services will be 3:00 PM, Saturday, Oct. 25 at New Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 - 3:00 PM Saturday at Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona. Military Honors will be presented by Florence American Legion Post #4.
