Marvin H Mason

Marvin H. Mason of Alexandria, KY died Sunday, October 19, 2014 at his residence at the age of 93.

He was the son of the late Golie Foster and Mary Ann Wainscott Mason, a WWII Army Veteran, A retired tool and die maker for Hasco Tag Co. Dayton, former owner and operator of M & L Mold Co. of Corinthas well as the owner and operator of Mason Pizza, Corinth, KY, and a member of the Corinth Baptist Church.
During his life in Grant County he was active with the Corinth Volunteer Fire Department, where he was past fire chief, a former rural fire board member and past president of the board, as well as a former Corinth City Councilman.
Surviving is his wife Loretta Taylor Mason of Alexandria; 4 sons, Mike Mason of Alexandria, Dennis Mason of Florence, Kenneth Mason of Kattanning, PA, and Bradford Mason of Covington; 5 daughters, Terry Robinson of Alexandria, Carolyn Carson of Tucson, AZ, Gwen Leahy of Bloomington, IN, Ann Davis of Bloomington, IN, and Cynthia Polatka of Highland Heights; 14 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 1 son, Andy Mason, and wasthe last of 13 children.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, Oct. 24, 2014 at Oakland Cemetery in Grants Lick, Kentucky.
