Roger Lee Watts

December 26, 1945 - October 11, 2014

Roger Lee Watts was born in Dayton, Ohio on December 26, 1945 and passed away at the St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, Kentucky on October 11, 2014 at the age of 68. He was the son of the late Charles and Wilma Ruth Watson Watts.

On April 15, 1981, Roger was united in marriage with Sharon Lynne Chaney. In addition to his loving wife of 33 years, Mr. Watts is survived by his children: Faye Lynn Thompson of Dallas, TX, Lisa Renee Kamphues of Middleton, ID, Kim Lee Lewis of Chicago, IL and Roger Allen Watts of Crittenden; brother: Benny Watts of Springboro, OH; sisters: Patty Strausbaugh of Harveysburg, OH, Debbie Allison of St. Paris, OH, Tammy Anderson of Dayton, OH and Jeanie Watts of Dayton, OH; 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

One brother, Billy Ray Watts preceded Roger in death. Mr. Watts was an avid Street Rodder and loved showing his 1936 Chevrolet Coupe at local car shows. He also was a former member of the Cushman Scooter Club.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 132 S. Main St., Crittenden, KY 41031 under the direction of Rev. Brent Kamphues. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Tueday at the funeral home. Burial will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Fairfield Cemetery in Dayton, OH.
