Raymond Holida

Raymond Holida, a Verona resident, passed away at his residence on Monday, October 6, 2013 at the age of 83.
Mr. Holida was a brakeman for the CSX Railroad for 28 years, a carpenter, mechanic, musician, and a member of the Concord Pentecostal Church.Above all he loved his church.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Wilson Holida; two sons, Gary Holida of Willard, OH, David Holida of Plymouth, OH; three daughters, Diane Ferguson, Sheila Devine both of Verona, Karen Hearn of Frankfort; four brothers, Chester, Dean, Richard Holida of Willard, OH, Virgil Holida of Shelby, NC; two sisters, Norma Jean Holmer, Josephine Rowe, both of Willard, OH, 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Mr. Holida was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Camilla Mills Holida, and two daughters, Marietta and Ramona Holida.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 8th at 1:00 PM at the Hamilton - Stanley Funeral Home, Verona. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.Burial will follow at the Concord Pentecostal Church Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Hamilton Stanley Funeral Home.
