Truett Beighle

March 25, 1929 - September 30, 2014

Truett Beighle of Florence, KY was born March 25, 1929 in Gardnersville KY and died Tuesday, September 30, 2014 in Florence at the age of 85.

He was the son of the late Charles Sherman and Flora Catherine Mills Beighle, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and Sgt. 1st Class, and an accountant and co-owner of the Beighle Brothers IGA stores. Truett was a deacon and Sunday school teacher with the Erlanger Baptist Church where he was a member. He was a former Gideon, a member of the Masonic Lodge, and a Trustee Emeritus of the Lindsey Wilson University, in Columbia, KY. He was united in marriage on April 13, 1957 to his wife Martha Ann Monin Beighle.
In addition to Martha, his wife of 57 years, he is survived by, 3 brothers, Edward Beighle of Williamstown, Paul Beighle of Verona, and Monty Beighle of Crittenden. He was preceded in death by 1 brother Sam Beighle and 1 sister, Elsie Beighle Ervin.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday, October 3, 2014 at the Erlanger Baptist Church, 116 Commonwealth Ave. Erlanger, KY 41018. Visitation will be 11:00am-2:00pm Friday at the church. Burial and graveside services will be 11:00am Saturday, October 4 at the Glendale Christian Church Cemetery, 119 W. Main St. Glendale, KY 42740.
