Betty Gamble Mitts, a Covington, Kentucky resident, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital-Edgewood on Friday, September 26, 2014 at the age of 74.

Mrs. Mitts was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, John Rodney Mitts in October of 2005.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Reachel Mitts of Covington, two stepsons, John Mitts, Jr. of Crittenden, and Robert Mitts of Elsmere, a stepdaughter, Debra Mitts of Cold Spring, 8 brothers, Dennis, Danny, & Johnny Gamble all of Indiana, Larry Gamble of Tallahassee, FL, Leonard Gamble of Florida, Dickie Gamble of Ohio, Bobby Dale Gamble of Maine, David Gamble of Louisville, 4 sisters, Wanda Duncan of Louisville, Virginia Dean of South Carolina, Kathy and Janice Gamble both of Cincinnati, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Betty was also preceded in death by her parents, Jesse James and Jessie Parton Gamble.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 29th at 1:00 PM at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, with the visitation Monday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.Burial will follow at the Williamstown Cemetery.
