Mary Ruth Glacken

April 4, 1941 - September 19, 2014

Mary Ruth Ryan Glacken was born in Verona, Kentucky on April 4, 1941 and passed away at the St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, Kentuckyon September 19, 2014 at the age of 73. She was the daughter of the late Howard Wendell and Mary Beagle DeZarn Ryan.

A homemaker, Mrs. Glacken was a former member of the Good Gals Club and the Walton Lions Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Garnal Harry Glacken; sons: Gary Glacken of Colorado Springs, CO and Darin Glacken of Union; brother: Howard Ryan of Independence; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the Hamilton - Stanley Funeral Home, 14635 Walton - Verona Rd., Verona, KY 41092. Visitation will be at the funeral home from Noon until time of the funeral on Tuesday. Burial will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery, Verona, KY.
