Evel E Hensley

December 20, 1922 - April 13, 2009

Evel E. Hensley was born December 20, 1922 New Liberty, Kentucky to the late Sterling and Bertha Fuller Sharon. Evel passed away on April 13, 2009 in Augusta, Georgia at the age of 86 years.

In additon to her parents, Evel was preceded in death by her husband Carl C. Hensley on November 6, 1983 and 1 daughter Debora H. Hensley. She survived by three daughters: Judith H. Fleenor (Robert) of Evans, Georgia, Rita H. Mehas (Mark) of Cincinnati, Ohion, and Janice E. Hensley of Kenna, West Virginia; 1 son: Carl D. Hensley (Kandi) of Ocala, Florida; 1 sister: Margaret S. Rollins of Florence, Kentucky; 1 brother: Raymond J. Sharon (Joyce) of Carrollton, Kentucky; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

At the time of her passing, Evel remained a member of the Lystra Church of Christ in Mason, Kentucky.

Services will be Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Bethany Baptist Church in Holbrook, Kentucky following a 1hour visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Visitation will also be Friday, April 17, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY. The burial will be in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in Holbrook, KY.
