James F Morris

October 25, 1924 - March 24, 2009

James F. Morris was born in Tarpon Springs, Florida on October 25, 1924 and passed away at the St. Luke Hospital, East in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky on March 24, 2009 at the age of 84. He was the son of the late Frank and Frances Liles Morris.

Jim is survived by his wife, Evelyn Greene Morris (native of DryRidge, KY)whom he married November 20, 1965 and many relatives and friends throughout both Florida and Kentucky. His brother, William Joseph Morris, preceded Jim in death. He and his wife made their residence in both Dry Ridge, Kentucky and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He taught high school mathematics at the St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Ft. Lauderdale. He was a member of the Tarpon Springs Elks Club and the Retired Educators of Broward County. His church membership was at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ft. Lauderdale and he attended the St. William Catholic Church in Williamstown, KY

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, April 3, 2009 at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church inFt. Lauderdale, FL. Visitation will be Thursday, April 2, 2009from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the Kraeer-Fairchild Funeral Home, 4061 Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308 - Phone: 954-566-5591. Entombment will take place in the Queen of Heaven Cemetery in North Lauderdale, FL. Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY is in charge of all Kentucky arrangements.
