Inez Thompson Howard

December 31, 1969 - March 25, 2009

Inez Thompson Howard was born in Cubbage, Kentucky in Bell County on May 28, 1936 and passed away at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center South in Edgewood, Kentucky in Kenton County on March 25, 2009 at the age of 72. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Cornie Cowen Thompson.

On February 27, 1954, Inez was united in marriage with Preston Ray Howard. From this union four sons: Thomas R. Howard of Latonia, KY, Rickey A. Howard of Williamstown, KY, Ronald Howard of Cordova, KY, and David A. Howard of Minnesota Lake, MN; and one daughter: Robin McClanahan of Crittenden, KY. A son: Kenneth Eric Howard preceded his mother in death on December 15, 1973. In addition to her loving husband and children, Mrs. Howard is survived by three brothers: Kendall Thompson of Pineville, KY, Lee Otis Thompson of Anderson, IN and Carlie Thompson of Harrogate, TN; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and many other friends and relatives. A sister, Shirley Jackson also preceded Mrs. Howard in death.

Mrs. Howard formerly was a shipping clerk for the Square D Corporation in Florence, KY and was a member of the Blackmont Baptist Church in Bel County, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 27, 2009 at the Blackmont Baptist Church in Bell County, KY at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be Thursday March 26, 2009 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY.
