Ernest "Ernie" Lee Laws

Ernest "Ernie" Lee Laws of Crittenden, Kentucky, was born Oct. 6, 1946, in Pineville, Kentucky. He passed away Saturday, March 21, 2009, in Edgewood, Kentucky, at the age of 62.

Ernie was the son of the late Zeb and Gatha Lee Bradshaw Laws, he was a retired truck driver, and a member of the Harvest Apostolic Church, in Williamstown, Kentucky. Ernie wasprecededin death by his wife, Cecilia "C-Mae" Jackson Lawson June 14,2001.

Ernie is survived by, 2 daughters, Nikki (Duane) Stidamsof Crittenden, Kentucky and Shawna (Billy) Hornsby of Longview, Texas; 4grandchildren,Hunter and Bryndal Stidams of Crittenden, Kentucky, and Seth and Lexi Hornsby of Longview, Texas; 3 brothers Terry, andLarry Laws both of Florence, Kentucky, and CustardLaws of High Point, NorthCarolina; and 3sistersCarrie James of Dry Ridge, Kentucky, Shelby Jones, of Indiana, and MaryBrandenburger, of Ludlow, Kentucky.

In addition,Ernie was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Edward, Johnny, Charlie, and Junior Laws.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Crittenden, Kentucky, with burial in the Jonesville I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00pm to 8:00pm Monday, March 23, 2009 at the funeral home.
