Dorman Ray Greene

Dorman Ray Greene of Williamstown, Kentucky, was born January 28, 1925, in Jonesville, Kentucky. He passed away Sunday, March 8, 2009 in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky, at the age of 84 years.

Mr. Greene was the son of the late English Joe and Myra Brock Greene. He was a retired crane operator, for Interlake Steel in Newport, Kentucky. He was a member of the Grant Lodge # 85 F & AM, Order of the Eastern Star Williamstown Chapter #301, and a member of the Gumlick Baptist Church in Pendleton County, Kentucky.

Mr. Greene was preceded in death by his first wife Edna Earline Farley Greene in 1992, and a son Donald Joseph " Jody" Greene in 2000.

He is survived by his wife Margarette " Peggy" Kicklighter Greene; 1 son Bobby Ray Greene of Florence, Kentucky; 1 stepdaughter, Melissa Bruin of Falmouth, Kentucky; 1 stepson, Ronald Adams of Dry Ridge, Kentucky; 1 sister, Katherine Caldwell of Georgetown, Kentucky; 2 grandsons and their wives, Kevin Ray and Crystal Greene of Batavia, Ohio, and Jeffrey Dale and Deanna Greene of Dry Ridge, Kentucky; and 1 great granddaughter, Gracie Mae Greene of DryRidge, Kentucky.

Funeral Services forMr. Greene will be11:00am Thursday, March 12, 2009, atthe Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown Kentucky, withburial following in the Gumlick Baptist Cemetery, Pendleton County, Kentucky. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm Wednesday, March 11, 2009, with a Masonic Service at 7:30pmat the funeralhome.
