Lester Baker

May 22, 1938 - February 13, 2009

Lester Bakerwas born in Owsley County, Kentucky on May 22, 1938 and passed away at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center,South in Edgewood, Kentucky on February 13, 2009 at the age of 70. He was raised by Levi and Dori Barrett.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Ann Griggs Baker; his son and daughter-in-law: Shane and Cecilia Baker of Covington, KY; his stepsons: Shawn Kelley of Covington, KY and Patrick Kelley of Dry Ridge, KY; his stepdaughter: Melody Kelley of Williamstown, KY; his brother: Roscoe Burns of Milan, IN; three grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Mr. Baker retired as a sheet metal worker in 2000. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #24 and a member of the Sherman Full Gospel Assembly in Dry Ridge, KY.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Sherman Full Gospel Assembly, 3185 Dixie Highway, Dry Ridge, KY. Visitation will be at the church also on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY is in charge of all arrangements. Burial will follow in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY.
