Yueltia Bailey

May 23, 1910 - February 8, 2009

Yueltia Cushman Woods Bailey was born in Pendleton County, Kentucky on May 23, 1910 and passed away at the Grant Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center in Williamstown, Kentuckyon February 8, 2009 at the age of 98. She was the daughter of the late Dudley Lawrence and Stella Mollie Cushman Woods.

On October 23, 1971 Yueltia was united in marriage with William Louis Bailey who preceded her in death on January 2, 1982. She is survived by one daughter: Peggy Jo Bailey of Williamstown, KY. One son, Donnie McAtee died in 1945. She is also survived by two grandsons: Jerry Bailey of Dry Ridge, KY and Roger Bailey of Williamstown, KY; three great granddaughters: Amy, Jamie and Sara; two great great grandchildren: Jeffrey Kinman and Brooklyn Osborne and many other relatives and friends. Mrs. Bailey was the last of a family of six. Her brother, Alva Woods and her sisters, Gladys Johnson, Lillian Woods, Thelma Webb, and Geneva Cookendorfer all preceded Yueltia in death.

Mrs. Bailey was a member of the Williamstown Baptist Church. She formerly worked as a waitress at the Halfway House Restaurant in Williamstown and was a clerk at the AA-Z Store in Williamstown.

Funeral services will be held at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, Ky 41097 at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Williamstown Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Williamstown Baptist Church Building Fund, 214 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097
