Patricia Ann Grubbs

Patricia Ann Grubbs of Glencoe, Kentucky,died Monday, November 21, 2016 at the Gallatin Health Care in Warsaw, Kentucky after a long illness. She was born in Covington, Kentucky on February 11, 1934 and lived to the age of 82. She was the daughter of the late George William and Jennie Schappert Peare.

On September 27, 1952, Pat married Roy Dale Grubbs who preceded her in death on January 10, 2014. She is survived by two sons: Tim Grubbs and his wife, Debbie of Ft. Mill, SC and Doug Grubbs and his wife, Sherrie of Dry Ridge; two daughters: Catherine Sue Covey and her husband, David of Dry Ridge and Jennifer Croswait and her husband, Jay of Ghent; two sisters: Garnett Smith of Florence and Jennie Tinnell of Ft. Wright; 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Her son, Donald Grubbs, Sr. and two brothers: George Peare and Robert Peare all died earlier.

Mrs. Grubbs was the senior accountant for the Topicz Corporation in Cincinnati. Visitation will be Saturday, November 26, 2016 from Noon until 2:00 PM at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. The funeral serivce will be Saturday at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. the committal service will take place at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 2, 2016 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Research Foundation.
