Joy M Morley

Mrs. Joy M. Morley of Verona, KY. passed away Tuesday, October 25 at St. Elizabeth Edgewood at the age of 83. Mrs. Morley was born September 6, 1933 in Magoffin County, KY. to the late Wick and Mary Burton Dyer. Mrs. Morley was a retired shipping clerk with Levi Strauss Co.



In addition to her parents, Mrs. Morley was preceded in death by her husband, Fred E. Morley on October 21, 2006.



Mrs. Morley loved tending to her flower and vegetable gardens and canned the produce that she raised. She was an expert with a needle whether it was sewing or quilting. She is fondly remembered by her family for being an outstanding cook and a mother to all who knew her.



Mrs. Morley leaves to mourn her passing a son: Gregory Morley and his wife Judy of Sanders, KY., 2 daughters: Patti Morley Stephenson and her husband Larry of Walton, KY., Pamela Morley Schuckman and her husband Neal of Blue Ash, OH., 2 sisters: Irene Skodinski and her husband Oscar of Michigan and NevaKriese of New Mexico. Mrs. Morley was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.



Funeral services for Mrs. Joy M. Morley will be conducted 1:00 pm Saturday, October 29 in the chapel of the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, 14635 Walton-Verona Road, Verona, KY. 41092 with visitation also on Saturday from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Burial will be in the New Bethel Cemetery, Verona, KY.
