Katie Smith Brown of Crittenden, KY as born September 7, 1946 in Jackson County, KY and died Friday, August 26, 2016 in Crittenden, KY at the age of 69.

She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Marie Pingleton Smith, a retired employee of Swans Corporation of Florence, and a member of the Crittenden Baptist Church.

Surviving is 1 son, William Ralph Patterson of Sparta; 2 daughters, Christina Louise Patterson Warner and Paula Marie Brown Dwyer both of Cincinnati; 6 grandchildren;7 great-grandchildren; 7 brothers, Harry Lloyd Smith of Warsaw, Ronald Dean Smith of Nicholasville, James Everett Smith of Cynthiana, Billy Elvis Smith of Georgetown, George Alvin Smith of Dry Ridge, Farris Damon Smith of Liberty, and Lawrence Wayne Smith of Warsaw; and 2 sisters, Lillian Lou Smith Robinson and Connie Sue Smith Spahn both of Crittenden,

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Crittenden. Visitation will also be Tuesday 11:00am-2:00pm at the funeral home. Graveside services will be 1:00pm Friday, September 2, 2016 at the Alexandria Cemetery.
