Arlene G Eckler

March 11, 1924 - August 22, 2016

Mrs. Arlene G. Eckler of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Monday, August 22 at the Florence Park Care Center in Florence, KY. at the age of 92. Mrs. Eckler was born March 11, 1924 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Hubert M. Grabo and Mildred Burhen Grabo. Mrs. Eckler was a former bank teller and a bookkeeper for several businesses including the Cincinnati Stockyards. Mrs. Eckler was a member of the Dry Ridge Christian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star and when she was much younger she was a member of Job's Daughters. She enjoyed dancing, reading, watching old movies and feeding and watching the birds at her home. She enjoyed watching educational television and she absolutely loved all animals particularly dogs.



Mrs. Eckler was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Murphey Eckler in 2007 and by a son: Richard Eckler, April 29, 2016.



Mrs. Eckler is survived by a daughter: Dianne Gayle and her husband Rick of Florence, KY., a granddaughter: Ashten Cox of Hamilton, OH. and 3 great grandchildren.



Funeral services for Mrs. Arlene G. Eckler will be conducted 1:00 pm Saturday, August 27 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge with Rev. David Wiggins and Rev. Jerry Summers officiating. Visitation will also be on Saturday from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Burial will be in the Broadridge Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY.
