Andy Ingram, Jr. was born in Millers Creek, Kentucky in Estill County on May 10, 1934 and passed away at his residence in Mt. Zion, Kentucky on February 26, 2015 at the age of 80. He was the son of the late Andy and Dorothy Richardson Ingram.
Mr. Ingram was preceded in death by his wife, Alverta "Bertie" Sharkey Ingram on June28, 2007. He is survived by two sons: Steven Ingram of Sparta and Jeremy Ingram of Erlanger; two stepsons: Will Sharkey of Dry Ridge and Steven Sharkey of Port Orange, FL; four stepdaughters: Joanne Cummins of Williamstown, Patty Ballard of Crittenden, Barbara McCormick of Dry Ridge and Donna Rymer of Crittenden; two brothers: Ralph "Shorty" Ingram of Cullman, AL and Willard "Wig" Ingram of Dry Ridge; two sisters: Beulah Jump of Covington and Frances Marksberry of Williamstown; 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Also surviving is his first wife: Ruth Ann Ingram of Florence. A brother, Pete Ingram, a sister, Margaret Landrum and a stepson, David Sharkeyalso preceded Andy in death.
A lifelong farmer and former truck driver, Mr. Ingram's funeral will be 2:00 PM, Monday, March 2, 2015 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 132 S. Main St., Crittenden, KY 41030. Visitation will also be on Monday from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Mt. Zion, Kentucky.
