Ralph L Marquette Sr

Ralph L. Marquette, Sr. of Louisville, KY and formerly of the Short Creek Community in Pendleton County, KY was born January 13, 1922 and died Monday, February 23, 2015, at the age of 93.

Ralph was the son of the late Randall Harrison and Rosa Blanche Galloway Marquette. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, where he served with Gen. Patton''s 3rd Army, 79th Division. He was a member of Southeast Christian Church in Louisville and the 1st Christian Church in Ft. Myers, FL, a member of the Masonic Lodge, Shriners, Elks Club and the American Legion. He retired as the President of the MasterFit Corporation in Indianapolis, IN. On October 3, 1942, he was united in marriage to Lillian Eloise Conrad Marquette who preceded him in death on Nov. 29, 2009. In addition to his parents and wife, Ralph was the last of 16 siblings.
Surviving is 1 son, Ralph Marquette, Jr, of Louisville, KY; 1 daughter, Marsha Anne Stephenson, of Dallas, TX; 3 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday, February 27, 2015 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, followed by burial at the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge. Visitation will be 11:00am-2:00pm Friday at the funeral home.
