Ottis Dean Roland Sr

Ottis Dean Roland, Sr. of Sevierville, TN and formerly of Northern KY was born April 8, 1942 in Pendleton County, KY and passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at his residence at the age of 72.

He was the son of the late Walter Russell and Rosa B Ellen Workman Roland, and a retired shipping clerk for R.A. Jones Manufacturing in Florence, KY. He was the husband of the late Janet Marie Sturdivant Rolland. In addition to his wife and parents he was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Glenn, Broadus, and Bobby Roland, and a sister Snowda Roland.
Surviving are 3 sons, Roger Roland of Sevierville, Ottis Roland, Jr. of Sevierville, and Ira Dean Roland of Paris, TN; 3 daughters, Tina Marie Closson of Sevierville, Lisa Dale Roland of Wooten, KY, and Betty Jean Cottrell of Sevierville; 16 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Billy Ray Roland of Covington, KY and Russell Jr. Roland of Largo, FL; and 5 sisters, Dottie Seafort of Florence, KY, Tessie Nantz of Burlington, KY, Betty Jewell Stamper of Walton, KY, Patricia Ann Barnett of Independence, KY, and Debra Garrett of Louisville, KY.
Funeral Services will be 2:00pm Monday, February 16, 2015 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Crittenden, KY followed by burial in the Williamstown Cemetery. Visitation will 11:00am-2:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
