Lloyd Wilson

August 2, 1914 - August 19, 2016

Mr. Lloyd T. Wilson of Bedford, KY. and formerly of Mason, KY. passed away Friday, August 19 at the Signature Health Care Center in Bedford, KY. at the age of 102. Mr. Wilson was born August 2, 1914 in Constance, KY. to the late Adrian T. Wilson and Bessie Anderson Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a retired machine operator for Lodge and Shipley Co. in Cincinnati, Ohio where he worked for 30 years. Mr. Wilson enjoyed nature and watching the birds. He enjoyed tending to his garden and raising tomatoes. He is fondly remembered by his grandchildren for his love of fishing.



In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his wife: Hetta Lillian Wilson in 2005.



Mr. Wilson is survived by 4 daughters: Donna Glenn of Walton, KY., Betty Jewell of Booneville, KY., Judy Garnett of Hebron, KY., Carol Spencer of Bedford, KY., 3 sons: David Wilson of Verona, KY., Daryl Wilson of Elizabethton, TN., and Terry Wilson of Florence, KY. Mr. Wilson was blessed with 24 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren.



Funeral services for Mr. Lloyd T. Wilson will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 24 in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth, with Rev. Brad Vincent officiating. Visitation will be there on Wednesday from 12:00 noon - 2:00 pm. Burial will be in the New Columbus Cemetery, Owen County.
