Norma Jean Rollins

June 14, 1954 - September 30, 2009

Norma Jean Elam Rollins was born June 14, 1954 in Verona, Kentucky to the late Robert and Edna Phipps Elam and passed away September 30, 2009 in Verona, Kentucky at the age of 55 years.

On December 18, 1982, Norma was united in marriage to William Franklin Rollins. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter: Amanda Elam of Verona, KY; one stepdaughter: Connie Beal of Florence, KY; two brothers: Robert & Donald Elam both of Verona, KY; and three grandchildren: Jesslyn, Brian, and Danielle Elam all of Verona, KY.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by five brothers: David Elam, Johnny Wayne Elam, Woody Elam, Virgil Elam, and Walter Elam; and two sisters: Viola Morris and Darlene Higgins.

Mrs. Rollins was a homemaker and a member of the Verona 1st Full Gospel Church in Verona, KY.

Services will be Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home in Verona. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM. The burial will be in the New Bethel Cemetery.
