Omega Ashcraft McClure Osborne

May 3, 1927 - September 26, 2009

Williamstown - Omega Ashcraft McClure Osborne was born on May 3, 1927 in the Stewartsville Community, Grant Co., KY to the late Charles Matthew Ashcraft and Sara Elizabeth Burns, and departedthis life on September 26, 2009. Mrs. Osborne received her Masters degree at Northern Kentucky University and was a teacher for Grant Co. Schools. Sheretired in 1980.

Mrs. Osborne was first united in marriage to Harold Filson McClure whom passed away Nov. 9, 1976. Since then, she was re-married to James B. "Pete" Osborne who passed away August 2, 2002.

Mrs. Osborne is survived by two sons, Jerry Wayne McClure of Walton, KY, and Larry Dale McClure of Dry Ridge, KY. She is also survived by one daughter, Peggy Jean Spillman of Dry Ridge, KY, one sister, Ann Weber of Burlington, KY, six grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.

Mrs. Osborne was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Mrs. Osborne's visitation will be Tuesday from 11am-2pm with the funeral following at 2pm. Both services will be at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
