Michael E. Brossenne of Independence, KY was born July 24, 1948 in Hamilton County, OH and died Friday, March 25, 2016 in Edgewood KY at the age of 67.

He was the son of the late Edward Augustus and Dorothy Gwendolyn Smith Brossenne. He was a City of Cincinnati Supervisor for the municipal garage, and a member of the Banklick Baptist Church. On May 13, 2006 he was united in marriage to his wife Diane Vest Brossenne.

In addition to his wife Diane, he is also survived by 1 daughter, Michelle (Gary) Spoon of Batavia, OH, 1 son James (Jennifer) Brossenne of Mt. Orab, OH, 1 step daughter, Carla Ann (Ray) Hucker of Independence, KY, and 7 grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Marie McAlvoy.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, KY, followed by burial in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00am-1:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
