George Gilbert Yazell Sr

George Gilbert Yazell, Sr. of Cynthiana formerly of Williamstown was born December 17, 1930 in Paris, KY and died Saturday, February 27, 2016 in Cynthiana, KY at the age of 85.

He was the son of the late Leonard and Rose Marie Walton Yazell, a retired masonry contractor and farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Lou Tapp Yazell in 2008.
Surviving is 3 sons, Joseph Leonard Yazell and Matthew Stephens Yazell both of Cynthiana, and Jeffrey Allen Yazell of Williamstown; 5 daughters, Rose Marie Hudson of Hebron, Sharon Lynn Yazell of Florence, Linda Faye Dalton of Walton, Jo Anne Lee Martin of Williamstown, and Robin Kay Oliver of Independence; 2 brothers, Harold Yazell of Middletown OH and Norman Yazell of Paris, KY; 2 half-brothers, Glenn Yazell of Cynthiana and Leslie Yazell of Paris; and 1 sister, Skeeter Franklin of Paris.
Graveside services will be 11:00am Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY. A Memorial Service will follow at the Sherman Full Gospel Assembly.
