Thomas Lee Shepard

October 12, 1952 - January 22, 2016

Thomas Lee Shepard was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 12, 1952 and passed away at his home in Florence, Kentucky on January 22, 2016 at the age of 63. He was the son of the late, Otto Woodrow and Dessie Mae Hadley Shepard.

On October 27, 1973, Tom was united in marriage to Rose Ann Shirley. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by two children: Tonya Laurent and her husband, Buddy, of Williamstown, Kentucky and Jason Shepard and his wife, Chantal, of Independence, Kentucky; sister: Linda Withers of Russell Springs, Kentucky; grandchildren: Mason and Madison Laurent and Colton and Liam Shepard. Two brothers: Frank Allen Shepard and Barry Woodrow Shepard preceded Thomas in death. During his healthy years, Mr. Shepard enjoyed fishing and camping. Later his greatest joy was his families especially being "Papaw Tom" to his grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 1:00 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North. Memorials are suggested to Children's Hospital, Cincinnati.
