Barbara Lee Navarrete

November 24, 1958 - January 18, 2016

Barbara Lee Lawson Navarrete, of Warsaw, was born in Covington, Kentucky on November 24, 1958 and passed away at the St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, Kentucky on January 18, 2016 at the age of 57. She was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Lawson and Margaret Smith Lawson of Warsaw, Kentucky.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Navarrete is survived by her husband, Hector; daughter: Danielle Noonan and her husband, Brice of Water Valley, Mississippi; sister: Nezzie Brewer of Warsaw; brothers: Gerald Lawson of Verona, Gary Lawson of Warsaw, Jeff Lawson of Akron, Ohio and Joe Lawson of Warsaw; grandchildren: Alivia Noonan and Caden Noonan. Barbara loved to cook and work in her garden with flowers. Her two greatest passions were shopping and collecting pajamas. Her daughter calls her a "pajamaholic". She attended the Sherman Full Gospel Church.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the Hamilton - Stanley Funeral Home, 14635 Walton - Verona Rd., Verona, KY 41092. The visitation will also be on Thursday from Noon until 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Napoleon Cemetery, Gallatin County. Memorials are suggested to the Sherman Full Gospel Church.
