Mary Donovan Whalen

August 31, 1967 - January 11, 2016

Mary Donovan Whalen of Hebron, KY was born August 31, 1967 and died Monday, January 11, 2016 at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Center, Edgewood, KY at the age of 48.
Mary was the daughter of Harold and the late Athena "Pat" Gibbons Donovan. She was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church and the American Legion Post #4 Ladies Auxiliary in Florence.
Surviving is her husband, Dave Whalen of Hebron; father, Harold Donovan of Monticello; 1 daughter, Crystal Sims of Burlington; 1 son, Jeremy Sims of Elsmere; and 1 sister, Marsha Donovan of Florence.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, January 15, 2016 at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona, followed by burial in the New Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00pm Thursday at the funeral home.
