Nell Cinnamon Lawrence

December 12, 1922 - January 8, 2016

Nell Cinnamon Lawrence was born in Anderson County, Kentucky on December 12, 1922 and passed away at her residence in Williamstown, Kentuckyon January 8, 2016 at the age of 93. She was the daughter of the late John Alvin and Nellie Norris Hanks Cinnamon.

On February 22, 1942, Nell was united in marriage with Frank William "Red" Lawrence, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Lawrence is survived by her son: John C.Lawrence and his wife, Penny of Williamstown; her daughter: Peggy N. Whalen and her husband, Douglas of Dry Ridge; her sister: Mary Nevins Warford of Lawrenceburg, KY; her brother: Gene C. Cinnamon of Lawrenceburg, KY; 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A daughter, Janice Lynn Lund, a brother Kenneth A. Cinnamon and a sister, Betty Lou Sanford all died earlier.

Mrs. Lawrence was a member of the Williamstown Order of the Eastern Star #301, the Williamstown Senior Citizens and the Williamstown Baptist Church. She served her community as the Vice President of the Bank of Williamstown which later became Eagle Bank for over 21 years.

Funeral services will be 7:00 PM, Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at the Williamstown Baptist Church. Visitation will be at the church from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, Tuesday. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Williamstown Baptist Church Building Fund orGideons International.
