Gladys Evelyn Tackett

Gladys E. Brewster Tackett of Warsaw, Kentucky, was born February 23, 1929, in Verona, Kentucky. She passed away on Friday, May 15, 2009,in Edgewood, Kentucky,at the age of 80.

Gladys was the daughter of the late Leonard and Callie Dean Kennedy Brewster. She was a homemaker, a member of the Hickory Grove Baptist Church, and the widow of the late CarlBenton Tackett.

Gladys is survived by 4 sons, Kenneth Ray of Warsaw, Kentucky, James L. of Ohio, BentonLee of Kalamozoo, Michigan, and Steven David of Warsaw, Kentucky;1 daughter Phyllis Tackett of Warsaw, Kentucky; andseveral granchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Gladys willbe 2:00pm Friday, May 22,2009, at the Hamilton-Stanley Funeral Home, Verona, Kentucky. Visitation will be after 11:00am Friday, at the funeral home. Burial will be inthe New Bethel Cemetery, Verona, Kentucky.
