Roger W Ballenger Sr

November 1, 1943 - April 27, 2009

Roger William Ballenger, Sr. was born in Corinth, Kentucky on November 1, 1943 and passed away at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center, South in Edgewood, Kentucky on April 27, 2009 at the age of 65. He was the son of the late William Harvey and Lillon Louise Bell Ballenger.

Roger is survived by his daughter, Roxanne Howe of Williamstown, KY; his son, Roger W. Ballenger, Jr. of Williamstown, KY; his sister, Lovell Caldwell of Dry Ridge, KY; his granddaughter, Macy Howe of Williamstown, KY and many other relatives and friends.

He was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church and a groundskeeper for the Triple Crown Country Club in Richwood, KY. He formerly owned and operated the Scenic View Golf Course in Grant County, KY.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 30, 2009 from 11 AM until 2 PM at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 2 PM on Thursday. Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery in Corinth, KY. Memorials may be made to: American Red Cross, Grant County Chapter, P. O.
