Judy Anita Fritz Beach

September 23, 1942 - April 28, 2009

Judy Anita Fritz Beach went to be with the Lord peacefully in her sleep on the morning of Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at the age of 66 at her home in Lexington. She was born in Grant County, Kentucky on September 23, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Lucille Fritz. Anita was a graduate of the Grant County High School in 1960 and received her license in Cosmetology in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a licensed hair stylist for over 41 years and began her career at the Wolf Wile Dept. Store. Later she worked at Stewart''s, Embry''s and spent many years with Timothy''s and Gerry Cassidy. She was a member of the Broadway Christian Church where she was a worker with the "Whirly Birds" and a former secretary/treasurer for her Sunday School class. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 48 years, Garry Beach; her daughter, Anita (W.C.) Johnson of Lexington; her son, Shelby (Rebecca) Beach of Bancroft, Michigan; her sister, Darlene (Gayle) West of Williamstown, Kentucky; her five grandchildren: MacKenzie, Kendahl, Carter, Aria, and Adriana; several nieces and nephews her pet dachshund, Ace; and many other friends and relatives.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 30, 2009, 4 - 7 PM at the Broadway Christian Church in Lexington. Visitation will continue on Saturday, May 2, 2009, 2 - 4 PM at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Funeral services will follow on Saturday at 4:00 PM. Burial will take place in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY
