Sue Messmer Northcutt

July 14, 1933 - December 24, 2008

Vaneeta Sue Messmer Northcutt, resident of Crittenden, was born in Knoxville, Pendleton County, Kentucky and passed away at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center, South in Edgewood, KY on December 24, 2008 at the age of 75. She was thedaughter of the late James L. and Bonnie Bell Butler Messmer.

On June 9, 1951, she was united in marriage with Derwood Northcutt, who preceded her in death on January 28, 2005. From this union three children were born: Danny Northcutt of Glencoe, KY, Ronnie Northcutt of Williamstown, KY, and Bonnie Northcutt of Erlanger, KY. Sue is also survived by one sister: Bonita Jones ofWalton, KY, four grandchildren: Kristy Northcutt, John Northcutt, Cleo Northcutt and Susan Northcutt; and many other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Northcutt was a clerk at the Grant County Farm Supply in Dry Ridge, KY. She had formerly worked as a waitress at the Little Shrimp in Dry Ridge and been an Avon Representative for many years. She was a member of the Sherman Baptist Church and a 1951 graduate of the Walton-Verona High School.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, December 28, 2008 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Satruday, December 27, 2008 from 4:00 - 9:00 PM.
