Jewell Mae Reynolds Clifton

Jewell Mae Reynolds Clifton of Williamstown, KY was born August 20, 1930 in Lincoln County, KY and passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital, Grant County at the age of 84.

Jewell was the daughter of the late Marion Gobel Reynolds and Flora Leach Reynolds Laycock. She was a retired CNA with the Grant Manor Nursing Home, Williamstown and the OES Convalescent Home, Cincinnati, and a member of the Lystra Christian Church. On April 20, 1968 she was united in marriage to her late husband, Hollie B Clifton who preceded her in death in 2009.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by 1 son, Albert Craig Clifton, and 3 sisters, Thelma May Reynolds, Ella Bea Reynolds, and Sarah Elizabeth Laycock.
Surviving is 3 daughters, Kay (Gary Louie) Jump of Verona, Sharon Ann (Ron) Flender, of Venice, FL, and Carolyn Porter (Wayne) Horn of Crittenden; 1 son, Douglas Clifton of Jonesville; 9 grandchildren, Renee Taylor, Mark Jump, Carla Combs, Mary Jump, Amie Walkup,Christopher Jump, Anna Patterson, Courtney Clifton and Corey Clifton; 16 great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Ora Lee Harris of Williamstown, and Mamie Harris of Batavia, OH.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm, Friday, January 23, 2014 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, followed by burial in the Jonesville IOOF Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00am - 2:00pm Friday at the funeral home.Memorials are suggested to Parkview Recreation Fund, 228 S. Main Street, Williamstown, KY 41097
