Jeanette Perkins Hicks, a Florence resident, passed away at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Florence on Wednesday, January 14, 2014 at the age of 64.

Mrs. Hicks was preceded in death by her parents, Ida Mae and James Perkins.

Mr. Hicks was survived by her daughter Stacy Vargas of Florence, two brothers, Jimmy Perkins of Florence, Tommy Perkins of Walton, two sisters, Jane Crider of Verona, Hazel Cooper of Crittenden, and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Sunday, January 18th, 2014 from 12-2pm with the funeral at 2pm at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Crittenden, KY. Memorial Committal service will be held on Saturday, January 24th at 2pm at the New Bethel Cemetery mausoleum. Memorials are suggested to the Salvation Army, 1806 Scott Blvd, Covington, KY 41014.
