Donald Wallace

October 20, 1932 - January 6, 2015

Donald Glenn Wallace was born in Williamstown, Kentucky on October 20, 1932 and passed away at St. Elizabeth Grant County in Williamstown on January 6, 2015 at the age of 82. He was the son of the late John Robert and Ora Marie West.

Donald was united in marriage with the former Edna Ruth Sechrest on May 14, 1955. In addition to his loving wife of nearly 60 years, he is survived by three children: Steve Wallace of Williamstown, Greg Wallace of Williamstown and Susan Weidner of McKinney, Texas and a grandson: Matthew Nicholas Wallace. Donald was preceded in death by a granddaughter Kristen Lee Wallace Carter on January 12, 2013 and a brother Leland Wallace on December 12, 2014.

A veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War, Mr. Wallace was a farmer and retired from the United States Postal Service as a Rural Mail Carrier.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097. Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, Kentucky. Memorials are suggested to the Williamstown Christian Church.
