Nellie Koorsen

March 1, 1920 - January 5, 2015

Nellie Elizabeth Koorsen, resident ofWilliamstown,was born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana on March 1, 1920and passed away at the St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, Kentucky on January 5, 2015 at the age of 94. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Harrison and Nellie Elizabeth Williams Rohrbaugh.

Mrs. Koorsen is survived by seven children: Nancy Ilene Beliger of Lewiston, MI, Sherry Schenk of Williamstown, Joseph Harrison Koorsen of Avilla, IN, Kathryn Joan Hackbarth of Lake Placid, FL, Kenneth Koorsen of Ft. Wayne, IN, Michael Koorsen of Yoder, IN and Nellie Elizabeth Carlyle of West Carrollton, OH; one sister: Phyllis Schnitker of West Virginia 21 Grandchildren, 49 Great grandchildren, and 13 Great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Albert and a daughter, Connie Sue Knuth.

Mrs. Koorsen was a receptionist for the city of Ft. Wayne in their public works department. Memorial services will be held at a later date in the Covington Memorial Gardens in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
