Barbara Ann Purnell Pettit

January 29, 1949 - January 2, 2015

Barbara Ann Purnell Pettit of Williamstown, KY was born Jan. 29, 1949 in Covington, KY and died Jan. 2, 2015 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood, KY at the age of 65.

She was the daughter of the late Stanley and Evelyn Juanita Bowen Purnell, a homemaker and retired Head Start Employee for the Williamstown Independent School, and a member of the Mt. Olivet Christian Church. On November 10, 1967 she was united in marriage to her husband Steven Pettit.
Surviving is her husband Steven; 1 son, Craig Steven (Heather) Pettit of Williamstown; 2 daughters, Carissa Ann (Daryl) Coyle of Warsaw, and Candee Dawn Pettit of Williamstown; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and 3 sisters.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, followed by burial in the Williamstown Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00am-2:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
