Betty Jane Courtney

February 24, 1946 - December 28, 2014

Betty Jane Bolling Courtney was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 24, 1946 and passed away at her home in Williamstown, Kentucky on December 28, 2014 at the age of 68. She was the daughter of the late Emery and Lucille Wainscott Bolling.

On August 24, 1964, Betty was united in marriage with Linville Wayne Courtney. From this union, three children were born: Mark Wayne (Monica) Courtney of Dry Ridge, Rick Allen (Lisa) Courtney of Williamstown and Lisa Renee (Harold) Pelfrey of Dry Ridge. In addition to her loving children, Mrs. Courtney is survived by nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one sister: Juanita Courtney of Williamstown and one brother: Kenneth Bolling of Dry Ridge.

Mrs. Courtney was a homemaker and a member of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Williamstown.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, January 2, 2015 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097 with Bro. Howard Chipman officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, Kentucky. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
