Alma Neal Collins

January 1, 1929 - December 25, 2014

Alma Neal Collins of Cynthiana, KY was born January 1, 1929 in Falmouth, KY and died December 25, 2014 at her residence at the age of 85.

She was the daughter of the late William Bruce and Corniela Mae Maples Neal, a retired nurse for the Palm Beach Memorial Hospital and the Grant County Hospital, and a member of the Riverview Baptist Church. On December 15, 1945 she was united in marriage to C. B. Collins, Jr. who preceded her in death in 1978.
In addition to her husband and parents, Alma was also preceded in death by 3 children, Ronnie, Douglas, and Deborah Collins, 2 brothers, Karl and Beuford Neal, and 1 sister, Mildred Lowe.
Surviving is 4 daughters, Neva (Mike) Hays of Berry, Sandra (Fred Edwards) Franks of Cynthiana, Pamela (Jack Reid) Hart of Jupiter, FL, and Susan C. Race of Cynthiana; 3 sons, C. B. Collins, III of Alpharetta, GA, Kevin L. (Lynda) Collins of Arlington, TX, and Tony (LeAnn) Collins of Williamstown; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 7 great great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00am Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, KY, followed by burial in the Williamstown Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm Monday, December 29, 2014 at the funeral home.
