Leland D Wallace

November 2, 1926 - December 12, 2014

Leland Dawson Wallace was born in Williamstown, Kentucky on November 2, 1926 and passed away at his residence in Williamstown on December 12, 2014 at the age of 88. He was the son of the late John Robert and Ora Marie West Wallace.

On November 27, 1952, Leland was united in marriage with Anna Katherine Scroggin.. From this union two children were born: Gary Wallace of Williamstown and LeAnn (Tony) Collins of Williamstown. In addition to his loving children, Mr. Wallace is survived by one brother, Donald Wallace of Williamstown; three grandchildren: Michelle Wallace, Anthony Collins and Christopher Collins; one great granddaughter: Brooklyn Collins and many other relatives and friends.

Leland worked for many years with Cincinnati Bell Telephone where he was a lineman, installer and switchman. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served his country during World War II. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the Williamstown Baptist Church.

Visitation will be at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097 on Tuesday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 PM with the memorial service at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Committal service will be at the Williamstown Cemetery. Memorials are to the donor's choice.
