Jewel "Jo" Burgess Schulte

Jewel "Jo" Burgess Schulte of Dry Ridge, KY was born April 9, 1934 in Dry Ridge, KY and died Thursday, November 27, 2014 at her residence at the age of 80.

She was the daughter of the late Willie and Jennie Catherine Evans Burgess; a retired claims clerk for the Sentry and Continental Insurance companies in Cincinnati, OH, as well as a former McAlpins and Dillards sales clerk. She was a Kentucky Colonial and a great fan of UK Basketball and Reds Baseball. On August 22, 1964 she was united in marriage to the late Robert Martin Schulte who passed away in 2003. In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by a brother, Jake Burgess, and sister Lucille Fritz.
Surviving is 1 brother, Bobby (Kathy) Burgess, and 2 sisters, Beulah Hedges and Barb Owen all of Dry Ridge, and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm Monday, December 1, 2014 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, followed by burial in the Mother of God Cemetery in Ft. Wright, KY. Visitation will be Sunday 4:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.
