Doris Jean Giles Hamilton

August 31, 1951 - November 24, 2014

Doris Jean Giles Hamilton was born in Owenton, Kentucky on August 31, 1951 and passed away at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, Kentucky on November 24, 2014 at the age of 63. She was the daughter of the late Elwood and Edna Mae Baker Giles.

Mrs. Hamilton was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Hamilton, her son, Kevin Giles and her sister, Loraine Snow. She is survived by her children: Sabrina (Jerry)Wesseler of Sunman, Indiana, Marsha Hamilton of Burlington and Jason Hamilton of Florence; her stepchildren: Keith Hamilton of Crittenden, Phillip (Stephanie) Hamilton of Carrollton, Melody (Mike) Richards of Verona, Marla Kemper of Crittenden and Krista Hamilton of Crittenden; her sisters: Mae Turpin of Owenton, Gracie (Bob) Brewer of Bowling Green and Linda (Danny) Lillard of Crittenden; 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A member of the Independent Bible Church in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, Doris was a stocker and cashier for Walmart in Florence.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hamilton will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 28, 2014 at the Hamilton - Stanley Funeral Home, 14635 Walton-Verona Rd., Verona, KY 41092. Visitation will also be on Friday at the Funeral Home from Noon until 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery, Verona, Kentucky.
