Fred H Ford

September 24, 1931 - December 7, 2008

Fred H. Ford, resident of the Mt. Zion Community in Grant County, Kentucky was born in Newport, Kentucky on September 24, 1931 and passed away at the St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, Kentucky on December 7, 2008 at the age of 77. He was the son of the late Fred and Helen Sothard Ford.

Fred is survived by his wife, Alta Ford; three sons: Jack Ford of Independence, KY, Tom Ford of Ft. Thomas, KY and Jimmy Ford of Alexandria, KY; three daughters: Sheila Horn of Bellevue, KY, Cheryl Lambert of Taylor Mill, KY and Linda Carson of Covington, KY; two stepsons: Curt Foley of Cincinnati, OH, and John Foley of Newport, KY; one stepdaughter: Susan Schehr of Dry Ridge, KY; 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. He formerly worked for Westinghouse and R.C.A. where he served as engineer and quality manager.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097 with visitation at the funeral home from 4-8 PM Tuesday.
