Billie Louise Perry Knipfer was born in Covington, Kentucky on April 21, 1921 and passed away at the Harborside Health Care Facility in Florence, Kentucky on November 19, 2008 at the age of 87. She was the daughter of the late Salem and Mary Eddie Wingate Perry.
She was united in marriage with Arthur Edward Knipfer who preceded her in death. From this union four sons: Rev. Alvin Knipfer of Palm Bay, FL, Richard "Dick" Knipfer of Greenville, SC, Rev. Thomas H. Knipfer of Williamstown, KY, Ron Knipfer of Independence, KY; and four daughters: Evelyn Vice of Greenville, SC, Debbie Knipfer of Florence, KY, Pam Myers of Hebron, KY, and Lisa Noe of Farifield, OH; and one stepson: James Knipfer of Ludlow, KY survive. In addition to her loving children, Billie leaves one sister: Pat Bradford of Florence, KY, 26 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren and many great great grandchildrenas well as many other relatives and friends. A daughter passed away as an infant: Diane Knipfer. Two sisters and a brother also preceded Billie in death: Bea Sims, Elizabeth Johnson and Kenny Perry.
Mrs. Knipfer retired as a cook from the Conner Junior High School cafeteria in Burlington, KY. She was a member of the Florence Baptist Temple in Burlington, KY. Funeral services will be 12 Noon, Monday, November 24, 2008 at the Florence Baptist Temple in Burlington, KY. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 AM until Noon. Entombment will take place in the Floral Hills Memorial Park, Taylor Mill, KY. Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home of Williamstown, KY is handling all arrangements.
